Road Staff Opportunities
Our road staff are dedicated to providing professional and compassionate emergency medical care to the community. Team members respond to 911 calls, care for patients during emergencies and transport, and work closely with hospitals and other first responders.
EMT
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) provide Basic Life Support (BLS) care, assess patients, assist with treatment, and safely transport patients to medical facilities following New York State EMS protocols.
Paramedic
Paramedics provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care for critically ill and injured patients. In addition to EMT skills, Paramedics perform advanced procedures such as cardiac monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, and advanced airway management.
All providers receive ongoing training and work together as a team to serve the community with pride and professionalism.
Who Can Volunteer? You Can.
At Penfield Webster Emergency Medical Services, our volunteers come from all kinds of backgrounds and experiences. Whether you want to help on the ambulance, support operations behind the scenes, or assist with administrative work, there’s a place for you here.
Our members include students, parents, retirees, healthcare workers, tradespeople, teachers, office professionals, business owners, and community members who simply want to make a difference.
No EMS experience is required for many roles. We provide training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow within the organization.
