Who We are
The Penfield Explorer Post helps young people ages 14-18 see if they are interested in becoming an Emergency Medical Technician. We conduct our drills every other Wednesday during the school year and every Wednesday in the summer. In each drill we learn hands on about the emergency medical field. Once an explorer is 16, they can ride on an ambulance with an approved advisor. If you are interested in joining you may contact our head advisor Bohdan Ersintuik at firemedic4@rochester.rr.com, or you can pick up an application at the base, or if you are not sure if you would like to join then you can stop by during one of our drill nights at 7:00 PM and see what we do!
